Set on 40 acres of pristine land with every door and window boasting ocean and mountain views, the home includes several courtyard areas with a sweeping outdoor terrace overlooking an infinity-edge salt water swimming pool.
The owners requested a mix of interior and exterior window treatment solutions for a variety of needs including heat reflection, privacy, room darkening and softening spaces within their large-scale renovation.
The home included entire walls of glass sliding stackers, windows of varying dimensions, large outdoor entertaining areas, a media room, bedroom wing, an office and other spaces requiring creative solutions.
Window treatments needed to address the challenges of each room all whilst framing the hinterland views from all angles.
We custom-made a selection of sheer and blockout curtains for the bedrooms to create privacy during the day and full room darkening at night.
We created roller blinds in living areas that rolled up neatly above the window frames and allowed the entire glass to be visible.
We installed motorised Evo MagnaTrack awnings to the exterior in order to protect certain outdoor entertaining spaces from the elements allowing them to be used in all weather conditions. Controlled via remote and mobile app, these awnings can be opened and closed at various heights to allow the area to be flexible as possible.
